Youth unemployment swelling worldwide: ILO 

In a new report, the UN's labour agency estimated that the global youth unemployment rate would reach 13.1 percent in 2016, up from 12.9 percent in 2015, and nearing its 2013 record high of 13.2 percent. The increase "is driven by a deeper than expected recession in some key emerging commodity-exporting countries and stagnating growth in some developed countries," said Steven Tobin, a senior economist at the International Labour Organization and the lead author of the report. The situation was meanwhile expected to stabilise in 2017, according to the ILO report. Perhaps of greater concern than stubbornly high youth unemployment, the report warned, was that more than a third of young people who have a job are living in extreme or moderate poverty, compared to just over a quarter of working adults. Breaking down the numbers by region, the report showed that Arab states -- hard-hit by a range of geopolitical tensions -- count the world's highest youth unemployment rate, at above 30 percent. Within the region, young people in oil-exporting countries like Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were expected to face the greatest jobless rates amid a slowdown in growth and tighter fiscal policies, the report said. North African countries also registered a youth unemployment rate near the 30-percent mark. In terms of development status, emerging countries were expected to see unemployment among 15-to 24-year-olds grow the most, rising from 13.3 percent in 2015 to 13.6 percent this year, affecting 53.5 million people, the report found. The world's most developed nations meanwhile count the highest youth unemployment rate, at 14.5 percent, affecting 9.8 million people, with the situation expected to improve only slightly next year to 14.3 percent. But the report stressed that this "does not reflect more favourable labour market conditions" in emerging and developing countries. Instead, it indicates that "young people in these countries must often work, typically in poor-quality and low-paid jobs in order to provide basic necessities," it said. In fact, some 156 million working youths in emerging and developing countries are currently living in extreme poverty, meaning they have less than $1.90 a day, or in moderate poverty, which means they have to make do with under $3.10 a day. "Given this twofold story of rising unemployment rate on one hand and a persistently high working poverty rate on the other hand it will be very difficult to reach the goal that we have set to end poverty by 2030," Tobin told reporters, referring to one of the UN's new targets for sustainable development. He insisted the world needed to "redouble our efforts to achieve sustainable economic growth and decent work, including for youth."

Present perfect

Definition
In English grammar, the present perfect is an aspect of the verb expressing an action that began in the past and that has recently been completed or continues into the present. Also known as the present perfective.
The present perfect is formed by combining has or have with a past participle (usually a verb ending in -d, -ed, or -n).

Time Expressions with Present Perfect


When we use the Present Perfect it means that something has happened at some point in our lives before now. Remember, the exact time the action happened is not important.

Examples:
Have you been to Mexico in the last year?
I have seen that movie six times in the last month.
They have had three tests in the last week.
She graduated from university less than three years ago. She has worked for three different companies so far.
My car has broken down three times this week.


Present Perfect Continuous

Now, I want to tell you about Present Perfect Continuous.
We use the Present Perfect Continuous to show that something started in the past and has continued up until now. "For five minutes," "for two weeks," and "since Tuesday" are all durations which can be used with the Present Perfect Continuous.

DEFINITION OF THE SIMPLE PAST TENSE


The simple past tense, sometimes called the preterite, is used to talk about a completed action in a time before now. The simple past is the basic form of past tense in English. The time of the action can be in the recent past or the distant past and action duration is not important.

Mengenal dan cara mengatasi Kegelisahan

Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Puji syukur kehadirat tuhan yang maha esa telah memberi kesempatan kepada saya untuk menulis artikel ini, berbagi ilmu dan informasi kepada teman-teman. Pertama saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada dosen saya ibu Ramita Hapsari yang telah memberikan tugas ini kepada saya guna menjadi melatih saya menjadi seorang informan yang baik dalam membagi ilmu.

Pada edisi kali ini saya akan menjelaskan tentang "Kegelisahan"
1.      Apa sih itu kegelisahan?
2.      Apa penyebab munculnya kegelisahan?
3.      Bagaimana mengatasi sebuah kegelisahan?

1.      Apa sih arti kegelisahan?
Kegelisahan berasal dari kata gelisah yang berarti tidak tenteram hatinya, selalu merasa khawatir,  tidak tenang, tidak sabar, cemas. Sehingga kegelisahan merupakan  hal  yang menggambarkan seseorang tidak tentram hati maupun perbuatannya, merasa kawatir, tidak tenang dalam tingkah lakunya, tidak sabar ataupun dalam kecemasan.

2.      Apa penyebab munculnya kegelisahan?

Ø  Rasa Takut dan Malu
Mungkin, sifat malu merupakan salah satu diantara faktor penyebab was-was, sebab seorang pemalu adalah orang yang takut berdiam diri dan inilah yang mengharuskan kita membahas tentang sebab-sebabnya pada anak-anak.
Karena itu, mereka yang pada masa kecilnya telah mendapatkan pelecehan dan perlakuan keras, pada masa dewasanya tidak akan mampu menghadapi problem yang sangat besar dan menyelesaikannya secara benar. Ini menunjukkan bahwa seorang pemalu akan berusaha dengan berbagai macam cara untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan sebaik-baiknya agar tidak menjadi bahan penilaian dan cemoohan orang lain. Inilah yang mendorongnya melakukan pekerjaan secara berulang agar dapat menyelesaikannya sebaik mungkin, yang pada akhirnya menjerumuskannya kedalam was-was.
Ø  Internal diri

Seringkali manusia merasakan adanya kegelisahan karena dirinya merasa terancam oleh adanya sesuatu hal. Misalnya, seseorang itu mendapat nilai atau IPK yang rendah dan dirinya merasa tertekan oleh hal tersebut, tidak tahu apa yang ingin dia lakukan karena terlalu panik dan gelisah menyikapi hal tersebut. Kegelisahan juga berujung stress pada seseorang.

Ø  Tidak Merasa Aman
Dalam keadaan tertentu, perasaan tidak aman merupakan faktor penyebab terjadinya was-was. Dengan kata lain, sebagian orang akan menderita was-was lantaran dirinya merasakan tidak adanya keamanan. Terkadang, perasaan semacam ini merupakan akibat dari lemahnya kepribadian dan tidak adanya kemampuan dalam mengendalikan diri.

Ø  Jiwa yang Lemah

Kelemahan jiwa dalam diri seseorang dapat mencapai suatu taraf dimana ia sendiri kehilangan kekuatan untuk mengendalikannya, sehingga kita mendapatinya dengan terpaksa menyerah dihadapan kejadian-kejadian yang dialaminya. Ketika ia menampakkan keinginan agar seluruh pekerjaannya sebanding dengan orang yang lebih utama darinya, maka perasaan ini akan berubah kedalam bentuk perasaan lemah.
3.      Bagaimana mengatasi kegelisahan?
ü  Meng-evaluasi diri
Segera mencatat apa sesuatu hal yang membuat anda gelisah, apa penyebab sesuatu tersebut terjadi, dan segera selesaikan.
ü  Tenang dan berpikir positif
Tenangkan diri anda, ada banyak berbagai cara yang membuat anda tenang, anda bisa mendengarkan music slow Mozart, Karena kegelisahan membuat jantung anda berdetak lebih kencang, slow Music dapat mengurangi kegelisahan dan memperlambat detak jantung anda. Beribadah dapat menenangkan diri anda, berserahlah kepada tuhan, tetapi jangan lupa untuk bertindak menyelesaikan masalah yang membuat anda gelisah.
ü  Lakukan kegiatan positif
Melakukan kegiatan positif juga membuat anda melepaskan kegelisahan yang ada pada diri anda, bertemu dengan teman-teman, saudara membuat ada relax. Usahakan kegiatan tersebut adalah sesuatu kegiatan yang bermanfaat untuk diri anda dan masyarakat. Misalnya, dengan berkunjung ke yayasan yatim piatu dan dhuafa, kegiatan tersebut membuat anda senang bukan, dan tentu saja bermanfaat untuk mereka.

Tanggung Jawab dan bentuk tanggung jawab

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh


Salam sejahtera bagi kita semua.


Pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan berbagi ilmu tentang “Tanggung Jawab”.

·         Apa sih Tanggung Jawab itu?
·         Bagaimana seharusnya menyikapi tanggung jawab?
·         Pentingkah tanggung jawab bagi karir kedepan?
Saya juga akan menjelaskan contoh tanggung jawab:
1.      Diri sendiri
2.      Keluarga
3.      Masyarakat-bangsa dan Negara
4.      Sang pencipta
Nah, sebelum saya menjelaskan pentingkah tanggung jawab bagi karir kedepan, saya akan menjelaskan arti dari tanggung jawab.
Apa itu Tanggung Jawab
Tanggung Jawab adalah menanggung segala sesuatu yang telah atau sudah terjadi dan dialami.
Bagaimana seharusnya menyikapi tanggung jawab?
Semua manusia pasti memiliki tanggung jawab, tanggung jawab sama dengan amanah, Ketahuilah bahwa tanggung jawab berhubungan dengan kewajiban, bukan hak, jadi tanggung jawab itu sama dengan sebuah kewajiban, yang harus dipikirkan bagaimana pemecahan masalahnya. Hubungannya dengan jurusan yang saya ambil, jurusan manajemen di Universitas Gunadarma adalah di suatu perusahaan pasti mempunyai manajer SDM, jika ada hambatan yang dialami oleh SDM menyangkut soal perusahaan, seorang manajer harus segera mencari solusi yang tepat dan bijaksana dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan. Demikian adalah tanggung jawab seorang manajer SDM.
Pentingkah tanggung jawab bagi karir kedepan?
Tanggung jawab penting untuk karir kedepan, mengapa..? karena sikap tanggung jawab harus ada pada diri setiap orang, baik di bidang manajerial, arsitektur, IT, dan lain sebagainya. Jika seseorang acuh tak acuh dalam mengemban tugas yang sudah amanahkan, hakekatnya seseorang itu tidak bertanggung jawab atas pekerjaannya.
Diatas adalah gambaran umum tentang tanggung jawab, kita masuk ke bagian inti, saya akan menjelaskan contoh kegiatan tanggung jawab saya sehari-hari.
1.     1.  Diri sendiri
Tanggung jawab kepada diri sendiri antara lain;
-          Memilih bidang pendidikan sesuai minat dan bakat,
-          Belajar dan mencapai target skill,
-          Menetapkan bidang karir yang akan dijalani setelah lulus kuliah,
2.      2. Keluarga
Tanggung jawab kepada keluarga antara lain;
-          Membantu kedua orang tua
-          Saling menasehati dan bermusyawarah jika ada permasalahan
-          Membanggakan kedua orang tua
3.      3, Masyarakat-bangsa dan Negara
Menurut saya tanggung jawab di masyarakat  sangat kompleks dimana saya mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk berkontribusi, mengerahkan tenaga untuk masyarakat, salah satunya adalah mengajar, mendidik di bidang akademik maupun moral di suatu yayasan yatim dan dhuafa, mengapa saya lebih menekankan moral, saya pernah melakukan survey di daerah tersebut, mulai dari budaya masyarakatnya, ekonomi keluarga, dan cara interaksi masyarakat sekitar ternyata belum mencerminkan budaya demokrasi, menghargai pendapat, mudah ter provokasi yang menimbulkan pertengkaran internal kelurga maupun eksternal (antar wilayah), dan lain-lain, realitas demikian yang membuat saya ingin turut memperbaiki budaya, moral masyarakat menjadi lebih baik, dan saya mempunyai sebuah visi dimana saya menginginkan wilayah tersebut menjadi wilayah percontohan yang mempunyai warga yang terampil untuk memperbaiki ekonomi wilayah tersebut.

4.      4. Sang pencipta

Tanggung jawab saya kepada Allah swt. adalah menjadi khalifah fil ardh (pemimpin di muka bumi) dimana allah memerintahkan manusia untuk memperbaiki, menjaga, dan menyelesaikan masalah apa yang ada di muka bumi. Salah satunya dengan memperbaiki di sector ekonomi. Tanggung jawab selanjutnya adalah beribadah. Mematuhi segala perintahNya dan menjauhi segala laranganNya.
